The registration fee is $45 for the year and includes jerseys, helmets and
shoulder pads. Pants and mouthpieces can be purchased at registration.
Players need to be present at sign-up because sizes will be taken at that
time.
Registrations will be limited to a first come, first serve basis. Only 10
teams will be formed this year: four flag teams for 7- and 8- year olds;
two tackle teams for 9-year olds; two tackle teams for 10-year olds; a
tackle team for 11-year olds; and a tackle team for 12-year olds. The
teams for 11- and 12-year olds are limited to 25 kids each.

"We are limited by field availability, funds and volunteers this year,"
spokesman Ken Wilson said. "But the limitation is somewhat of a blessing in
that it is important to build a quality, manageable program to expand upon
for years to come."
The teams will compete in the Boise Optimist League, which includes teams
from Boise, Meridian, Emmett, Horseshoe Bend, McCall, Kuna, Idaho City,
Mountain Home and Hailey. Practice starts Aug. 14th . The season will
consist of five home games and two road games.
